CAT 2017 Notification
CAT which is also known as Common Admission Test is said to be one of the toughest Management exam which is headed by the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow. Every year the authority conducts this Exam to select the competitive and deserving candidate for taking admission in Post Graduate program for MBA program at various well-known reputed IIMs to carry out the MBA program. The Common Admission Test is the national level exam which is conducted by the authorities every year in the month of November/December. CAT 2017 Registration
The registration process of CAT Common Admission Test will start from 7th August 2017. There are nearly 20,000 seats available in 20 IIMs and lots of candidate applies for the CAT exam every year. The online registration process for the same will ended up in September and the authority will accept the application form by an online mode only, the registration process will get close in September month. Hence the candidates who are interested and are preparing for the exam can fill the application form and submit the form as soon as possible before the last date for application form. Before filling up the application form, he or she has to check the eligibility criteria for the same.

CAT 2017 Eligibility Criteria
Candidate must have the graduation degree in Bachelor’s in any of the Discipline which must be from the recognized university or institute. He or she has to score at least minimum percentage of 50% if the candidate belongs to the general category and 45% if he or she belongs to the reserved category. Even final year student can also apply for the same but they must fulfill the Bachelor’s degree cutoff given by the IIMs and other approved institutes participating in CAT 2017.
The General category candidate has to pay 1800INR as the application fees whereas 900INR allotted for the reserved category candidate. In order to pay the fees, the candidate has to use Credit card, debit card or net banking payment gateways.

CAT Exam 2017
The authorities will be going to upload the admit card for the eligible candidate on 18th October 2017 soon after the completion of the online registration process. The authorities will conduct the CAT exam on 26th November 2017 at various affiliated centers to select the candidate for taking admission in various colleges.
CAT Exam Pattern 2017
Coming to the exam pattern, the time duration of the CAT exam is 3 hours and in this time period the candidate has to attempt all the 100 objective type questions which are mixed of multiple and non-multiple choice questions. The paper is divided into 3 sections, Verbal Ability and Comprehension, Data Interpretation and Reasoning, as well as quantitative ability. While attempting the questions makes sure that each of the section has time bound of 1 hour whereas the total duration is of three hours. Each question carries three marks and there is negative marking also and the authority will deduct 1 mark for every wrong answer.
