The West Bengal School Service Commission is going to declare the result for SLST Examination soon. Few months back, the authorities has announced the WBSSC SLST Notification to select candidates for the Assistant Teacher posts in Upper Primary Level in Secondary and Higher Secondary Schools. The authorities have released 32873 vacant posts which they are planning to fill by recruiting candidates for the Assistant Teacher positions. WBSSC SLST Merit List 2017
The Merit List of the candidates for the post of Assistant Upper Primary teacher will be based on the candidate’s TET exam result which has 40 marks weightage and on his or her academic qualifications that has 50 marks weightage and then the personality test that carries 10 marks where the candidate’s appearance in the personality test is mandatory. Selection of the candidate for the post of Assistant Teacher in the Upper Primary Level School will be made on the basis of the written exam, his/her academic qualification and on the basis of personality test where the written exam carries 55 marks and academic qualification has the weightage of 35 marks and the personality test has 10 marks. Hence on the basis of these rounds the authority will select the candidate for the Assistant teacher position.
