Latest Update (19th November 2016): SBI SO Exam has been postponed by the department. Before the exam was scheduled for 25th November 2016 but now the exam will be conducted on 22nd January 2017 and also the release date of the admit card has been declared and that is 12th January 2017.

Interested applicants had completed the registration within 04th October 2016 to 22nd October 2016 by filling up the registration form available on the mentioned site for SBI 411 Posts SO Recruitment 2016. Candidates had applied for only one post under this project. The process of registration of application was completed only when the fee was deposited with the bank through online mode on or before the last date for fee payment.

SBI SO Selection Process 2016
Selection will be based on Short listing and Personal Interview. An adequate number of candidates as decided by the Bank will be shortlisted based on their qualification, experience and overall suitability for Interview. The qualifying marks in Interview will be as decided by the bank. Merit list for selection will be prepared in descending order on the basis of scores obtained in interview only.
In case more than one candidate gets the cut-off marks [common mark at cut off point], such candidates will be ranked according to their age in descending order, both in the select list as well as in the wait list.

Candidates serving in Govt./ Quasi Govt. offices, Public Sector undertakings including Nationalized Banks and Financial Institutions are advised to submit ‘No Objection Certificate’ from their employer at the time of interview, failing which their candidature may not be considered and travelling expenses, if any, otherwise admissible, will not be paid. In the case of selection, candidates will be required to produce proper discharge certificate from the employer at the time of taking up the appointment.
Appointment of selected candidate is subject to his/ her being declared medically fit as per the requirement of the Bank. Such appointment will also be subject to the service and conduct rules of the Bank for such post in the bank, in force at the time of joining the Bank.
