Eligibility Criteria for AP Police Jobs

Qualification Required: To apply for this job, the candidate has to check the educational qualification criteria. For the post of Constable, the candidate must have the passing certificate of Intermediate and 12th Class passing certificate whereas for the Andhra Pradesh Police SI and ASI, the candidate must have the graduation degree in any field which must be from the recognized University.
Age Limit: The age of the candidate must be between 18 years to 24 years where 18 is the minimum age limit and 24 is the maximum age limit.
Selection Process: The selection of the candidate will be based on his or her performance in the various selection rounds including Physical Standard Test, Physical Efficiency Test, Prelims Exam, and main written exam.
Pay Scale: The selected candidate will get the best remuneration for this job 5200INR to 20,200INR with the Grade Pay of 2,400INR.
Application Fees: The candidate has to pay the application fees for the same along with the application form. The candidate who belongs to the general category has to pay 300INR as the application fees whereas the candidate who belongs to the SC/ST and other category has to pay 150INR as the application fees.
Physical Measurement Test: If the candidate is male then the height of the candidate must not be less than 167.7cms as well as the chest of the candidate must not be less than 86.3cms with the expansion of 5cms.
Physical Efficiency Test:
Race: For Women, the candidate has to run 2.5kms in 16 minutes and the men have to run for 5kms in 25 minutes.
Long Jump: For male candidates, the candidate must take 11 feet of the long jump in three chances whereas for girls, she has to take 9 feet long jump for the same.
High Jump: For male candidates, the male candidate has to take 3.5 feet of high jump in 3 chances whereas for the women the high jump must be of 3 Feet in 3 chances.
