 We have news for you!!!!The link for Board of Secondary Education Manipur will be soon activated for the Teacher Eligibility Test. Candidates can submit their application form through registering their name on the official site of the BSEM www.bsem.nic.in. The application form of Manipur TET 2016 will be uploaded soon by the higher authority of BSEM and the last date along with other key dates will also be notified for the benefit of the candidates. The application form will be made available for Papers, Paper I and Paper 2 of Manipur TET 2016.

Manipur Teacher Eligibility Test is conducted by the state government, and the authority of Board of Secondary Education will be the main authority who will organize the process of selection for the recruitment of teachers. This specific test is taken for the candidates wanting to become state government teacher in the privately unaided and privately owned schools situated all across Manipur.

There are two papers in the Manipur TET. The Paper I is especially for them who want to teach the students from class 1 to 5 whereas Paper II specifically caters to those who want to be a teacher from class 5th to 8th. Candidates can also choose the option to teach both the class. Then the applicants should apply for both paper I and paper II and appear for both the exam.

The application fee has to be deposited for Manipur TET Application form 2016, and other details also will be provided in the recruitment advertisement. The eligibility details are discussed below.

BSEM TET Eligibility

  • The candidates who apply for the TET must be an Indian citizen
  • It is must for the candidates to provide the details of local / non-local status of their resident ship
  • The candidates who secured minimum of 45% marks in their Senior secondary and have two year Diploma in Elementary Education, can apply for the TET Exam 2016
  • The candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary exam by obtaining minimum 50% marks along with four years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) also will be considered as eligible to apply.
  • Those candidates will also be eligible who pass out higher secondary exam with a minimum 50% of marks and have two years Diploma in Education (Special Education).
  • For the upper primary, the candidates who secured a minimum of 50% marks in their Higher Secondary exam and have a four-year degree in B.A. / B.Sc. Ed. or B.A. or B.A.Ed or B.Sc. Ed can also apply
  • The candidates having a degree in B.A/ B.Sc/ B.Com and obtained minimum 50% of marks and a B.Ed degree are considered as eligible for the application.
  • 5% relaxation is given to the candidates belongs to the reserved category

Manipur TET Exam 2016

If you are going to appear for the Manipur TET 2016, then this discussion is for you. The candidates have to sit for the exam as per their application form filled up by them. Those who filled up the form for Class I to Class V, they have to attain the Paper I and the Paper II is for the teachers of Class VI to Class VIII. Both the papers are for those candidates who want to teach Class I to Class VIII. In Paper I, they have to answer the questions of Mathematics, Language I and Language II, Environmental Studies along with Child Development and Pedagogy. Per subject carries 30 marks, and 30 questions are given from each subject. The total marks allotted for the exam is 150 for the specific paper.

In case of Paper II, the Candidates have to attain three compulsory subjects. Those are Language I and Language II and Child Development & Pedagogy. These three subjects carry total 90 marks divided by 30 marks each for every subject. Candidates who filled for Maths and Science teacher post, they have to answer the Maths or science questions carrying 60 marks for 60 questions. For the teachers of Social Science, the marks dedicated to the Social Science is 60 for the total 60 questions.
