AP PGEC Admissions 2017
The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher education along with JNTU Kakinada organizes the Post Graduate Engineering Common Admission that is AP PGEC exam for candidates who wants to take admissions in the State Level Admissions in various regular PG and UG courses in the field of Engineering, Technology, and Pharmacy fields for ME, M.Tech, and M.Pharmacy courses for the academic year 2017-18. The APSCHE is a statutory body of the Andhra Pradesh Government state which conducts the exam and selects the candidate for taking admissions in these courses. AP PGEC Notification 2017
The authority has released the notification for AP PGEC 2017 for all the qualified candidates GATE/GPAT to select candidates for taking admissions in ME/M.Tech/M.Pharma courses in the University and in other private Engineering and Pharmacy colleges of Andhra Pradesh state. The candidate can check the details about the courses which are offered by the universities along with the eligibility criteria for each course is given below. The online AP PGEC Notification is available online on 17th June 2017 where the authority has started inviting the online applications on 21st June 2017 whereas the last date to submit the application form is 8th July 2017.

Eligibility Criteria for AP PGEC 2017 Admissions
- The selection of the candidate will depend on the marks he or she obtained in GATE/GPAT Exam.
- He or she should be of Indian Nationality.
- He or she must be of Andhra Pradesh/Telangana resident.
- According to AICTE, The candidate who wants to take admission in ME/M.Tech courses must have at least 50% marks for OC and BC as well as 45% for SC/ST category to qualify the degree examination.
- According to the Pharmacy Council of India, Candidate must score at least 55% for OC and BC in M.Pharma courses as well as 50% SC and ST.
The candidate has to pay the registration fees of 600INR if the candidate is OC/BC and 300INR for SC/ST candidate.
AP PGEC 2017 Counselling
The authority will organize the counselling process for AP PGEC after the result declaration. Candidate has to pay the counselling processing fees if he or she wants to apply for counselling process. The candidate must be there at the counselling place on the specified date to get the admission in the college. The counselling of the candidate will take place in two phases including the Phase 1 and phase 2. Initially the seat allocation will be done for Phase 1 and the leftover candidates will go to the phase 2 process, the authority will send the notification for that. In order to appear for the AP PGEC 2017, the candidate must carry various documents at the time of the counselling including:
- GATE/GPAT/AP PGECET Rank Card and hall ticket.
- SSC’s Memo.
- Degree Certificate and Memorandum.
- 10th Class graduation certificate
- Residence certificate
- Transfer certificate
- Income certificate
- Integrated Community Certificate
