WBJEE 2017 Result
The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board is going to release the WBJEE Result which is expected to be released on 5th June 2017. The authority has conducted the WBJEE Exam on 23rd April 2017 successfully at its various locations that is their affiliated centers. There are lots of candidates who had appeared in the examination to get admission in the engineering courses that are B.Tech and B.Arch courses. WBJEE 2017 Answer Key
The authority of the WBJEE Board has released the official answer key online on 18th May 2017 for all the sets A, B, C, D. Apart from the answer key, the authority has released the OMR response sheet for the candidates. In order to access the result, candidate has to enter the application number and password details in the redirected page. Coming to the scores, the authority of the WBJEE board will going to allot the marks on the basis of its own marking scheme that is for Category 1, there will be 1 mark for each correct answer whereas the authority will deduct ¼ marks for each incorrect answer. For Category 2, the authority will give 2 marks for each correct answer and will deduct ½ marks for every incorrect answer whereas for the category 3, the authority will give 2 marks for each correct answer and there will be no negative marking for incorrect answer.

WBJEE Merit List 2017
The board will prepare the merit list of the candidate based on GMR and PMR where the GMR is for the Engineering and Architecture courses and this list is prepared on the basis of the scores obtained in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and PMR list is prepared for Pharmacy course where the authority will take the scores of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology subjects. The WBJEE Board releases their own Merit List based on the category wise which consists SC Rank, PwD Rank, OBC Rank, ST Rank, and TFW Rank while the authority will allot the seats on the basis of GMR and PMR.
WBJEE Rank Card 2017
At the time of allocation the merit, if the candidate finds any tie then he or she has to follow their Tie Breaking Methodology and if in case the tie is not broken by using the above methodology then the candidate’s age will be given the priority, the elder candidate will get the more benefit and will be allocated the higher merit. WBJEE Counselling 2017
There are more than 1 lakh candidates had appeared in this entrance exam which is conducted by the Board. After the declaration of the results, the authority will start their counselling process and seat allocation process for the candidates to select them for taking admission in universities, private colleges, and government colleges.
