Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is a Government of India organization to recruit staff for various posts in the various Ministries and Departments of the Government of India and in Subordinate Offices. This commission is an attached office of the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) which consists of Chairman, two Members and a Secretary-cum-Controller of Examinations. His post is equivalent to the level of Additional Secretary to the Government of India.

SSC Constable (GD) Exam Pattern
As part the selection process, which includes medical test and interview, written test will be taken. The written examination will consist of one objective type paper containing 100 questions carrying 100 marks. The test will be objective type. Question paper will be divided in four segments: General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and Awareness, Elementary Mathematics, English/Hindi. Each section will contain 25 questions with each question carrying 1 mark. Full mark of the exam will be 100.
Staff Selection Commission will conduct the exam through both offline and online medium. Questions will be set in both English and Hindi language. Candidates opted for their preferred medium at the time of application. The recruitment advertisement to select 62,390 Constables was published back in January.
SSC Constable (GD) Result 2015
The candidates who are eligible for the written test had to face Physical Standard Test and Physical Efficiency test. Those who passed the tests can now get their SSC CAPF Constable Admit Card 2015. Merit list will be published who will get selected in the written test on the basis of cut off mark. Cut off mark for General Candidates is 35% and for SC/ST the minimum percentage is 33%.
Selected candidates will have to go through medical test as part of the last phase of the selection process. After all the formal process, they will be absorbed in their respective posts. As the exam is not far away, all the applicants need to get well prepared according to the exam pattern and syllabus and get their SSC Armed Police Force Admit Card 2015.
